Dawsun Health was conceived in 2021 as an idea triggered by the prevalence of skill gaps observed among some cadres of clinical staff. It was eventually established in 2022 to close these skill gaps through a comprehensive, superior, and innovative training approach for new students interested in the health sector, as well as offering refresher training for existing clinical staff.

Given the widespread presence of community pharmacies across the country and their role as the first point of contact for healthcare, Medicine Counter Assistants (MCAs) were prioritized as the initial focus for training. Subsequently, our scope expanded to include training for nurses and medical laboratory technicians, addressing the broader needs of the healthcare sector.

Dawsun Health’s vision is driven by its founder, Dr. David Sunu, a medical doctor and business leader. He is motivated by an insatiable thirst for impact in the health sector, leveraging leadership and innovation to drive positive health outcomes and build sustainable and efficient health systems that deliver quality healthcare in a customer-centric environment.
